Candy has been a personal trainer for 18 years. But even as an athlete herself, Candy never saw results like she did when she found the reformer. She wanted to combine this love of reformer pilates with all the great things about HIIT, and so her Fit Former style of training was born.
After ten years of running Fit Former style classes out of her personal training studio, she is so proud to be launching a dedicated space open to anyone ready to do away with excuses and truly challenge themselves.
When it came to choosing the women who would join her in instructing at Fit Former, the choice was easy. Candy hand-picked talented, strong women who had been training with her for years. They each share her passion for this style of training, and their warm and welcoming personalities make them the perfect fit for Fit Former.
With Candy’s sweat-inducing programs, Fit Former really is the only workout you need.

Emily B | Studio Manager | Trainer Level 5
Meet Emily, our dedicated instructor and studio manager who brings energy and passion to every Fit Former class. Known for her love of Hot Burn and any workout that challenges your push-up game, Emily is all about pushing boundaries and celebrating progress. When she’s not in the studio, she’s a proud dog mum, doting on her little dachshund friends. Emily can’t wait to help you find your Fit Former addiction too.

Treasure | Trainer Level 4
A registered nurse for over 10 years, Treasure has always been passionate about health and fitness. If she weren’t in nursing, you’d probably find her full-time in the fitness industry—just like her sister, Candy! She loves high-energy, bootcamp-style workouts that push the limits and get the heart pumping. With her demanding nursing career, Treasure makes the most of her downtime by embracing nature, hitting the trails for a hike whenever she gets the chance.

Emily L | Trainer Level 4
Our curly-haired powerhouse, Em, is all about health, fitness, and pushing the human body to its full potential. A dedicated physiotherapist with a decade of experience in the fitness industry across Toowoomba and Brisbane, she’s earned multiple coaching qualifications and a fitness certification—so you’re definitely in good hands! When she’s not helping others move better, you’ll find her training at FF, hitting the field for team sports, or competing in triathlons. She thrives on a good challenge and is hooked on the endless physical and mental tests that Fit Former delivers!

Jordan | Trainer Level 3
For Jordan, Fit Former is all about embracing your feminine side with Pilates flow, but still feeling strong after a good sweaty high-intensity workout. After playing soccer for 10 years, Jordan discovered this style of training and has never looked back. Now based on the Gold Coast, Jordan’s passion for movement takes her on the road, traveling to teach the classes she loves. When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her behind the camera, capturing moments—especially of her favorite subject, her chocolate Labrador, Barney.

Anne-maree | Trainer Level 3
As an allied health professional and a busy mum of three, Anne-Maree (or ‘Annie’ as she’s known) truly practices what she preaches—embracing and encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle. With a deep passion for movement, she helps people of all ages and abilities improve their mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Through her own holistic approach—including running after her kids!—she knows firsthand the vital role movement plays in achieving long-term health goals.

Giarne | Trainer Level 2
With four adult kids and four grandkids, Giarne is all about showing middle-aged and older women that strength, confidence, and vitality have NO age limit. After years of running and lifting heavy weights in her 30s and 40s, she discovered Candy’s method six years ago—and it’s been her ultimate go-to ever since (she can’t go past a strong WOTW). You’ll often find her soaking up the sun with a good book and a glass of wine (or two). As a true Libran, she’s all about balance—because feeling your best should be as enjoyable as it is empowering.

Kerri-Ann | Trainer Level 2
For Kerri-Ann, FF is more than just movement—it’s about connection, empowerment and feeling strong from the inside out. With 25 years as a primary school teacher, she knows the power of guidance and encouragement, and she brings that same passion into the studio. Watching clients level up and build strength is what keeps her inspired. Kerri-Ann was hooked on the Fit Former method since day one… she’s been showing up five days a week since the studio opened—often alongside her daughter, Lily. Whether she’s leading a session or pushing through her own, she brings energy, focus, and a whole lot of love for the burn.

Loco | Studio Queen
Meet Loco, Candy's loyal Shar Pei who often accompanies her to Fit Former training sessions. With her charming wrinkles and calm demeanor, Loco brings a touch of joy and tranquility to the studio. Whether she's lounging quietly or greeting clients with a friendly wag, Loco is a beloved member of the Fit Former family.
